Molly {portrait & fun}

Yesterday, I went out with one of my good friends, Vicki, and her daughter for a photo shoot and a little photography lesson. Vicki asked me to show her how to work her DSLR on manual, so that she could take better pictures of her family and friends. She has a large family, and takes many, many pictures.  Hopefully I was able to give her a general understanding of how to work her camera to produce better pictures (no more AUTO Vicki!!)!

Molly just graduated 8th grade, and will be starting high school this fall.  She was more than willing to be our model for our mini-lesson! We decided she needed to be on America’s Next Top Model WITHOUT all that drama!  She is very intelligent girl, with great confidence and personality.  She is a lot like her mom, but neither would probably admit to it! I am so thankful that I have gotten to know Vicki’s family over the past few years, and gotten to document some important times in their lives. Here are a few of the fabulous Molly from our session in downtown Nashville.

Vicki - These are fantastic! It was so much fun learning, and I promise to try hard to apply all you taught me. As expected, your photos are exceptional. It is really interesting how we both saw different things even in the same place. The third one from the bottom is very much “her”. Great job!
