I believe in the best of people, and love that I get to bring out that beauty through photography.

I love quality time with my husband. I do not give up my time with him easily, and I cherish every second we have together.

I love our son with all my heart, and I cannot wait to meet him when we travel across the world to meet him.

I am a user of :) and !!!, because sometimes just one exclamation is just not enough, and I feel like more people need to see a smile :).

I strive to be an encourager, supporter, and believer of other peoples dreams.

I am quick to worry, and wear my heart on my sleeve.

I am convinced that kindness is one of the most important qualities out there.

I have confidence that there are far better things that lie ahead than what we leave behind.

Lauren & Nathan {Expecting} | Nashville, TN Maternity Photographer

Lauren and Nathan are expecting their first little one so soon! Little Miss Sarah Evelyn (they are going to call her Eve) is supposed to arrive at the end of April, and I can’t wait to meet her. This couple was so fun to photograph. They are tender and loving and affectionate and caring and so comfortable with one another. I cannot wait to see them as parents.

We went out to Centennial Park in Nashville, and it was a wonderful spring day. Spring is my fav time of year (I think I said fall was too…. they are both my favorite in the moment). Spring stands for new, fresh, and change. I sit in my office right now, look out the window, and can see the tops of trees starting to sprout green leaves. This in itself makes me smile. We were so lucky to have our session on this day. The trees were blooming, the sun shining, and buttercups blooming everywhere. I LOVE buttercups, and so does Lauren!
