Overwhelmed. If you have seen me in the last few weeks, this is how I have been describing myself. Nothing fancy. Nothing exciting. Just plain overwhelmed. I have been on an emotional roller coaster from anxious to ecstatic to sad to exhausted to pleased to stressed. And I feel like I feel all of these at once most of the time! So me today = OVERWHELMED! I love October and the fall. I love the crisp air, the bonfires, the football, the leaves changing, the pumpkin candles, my birthday! But this fall, I have just feeling overwhelmed with our move, waiting to finally to hear that we can go meet our son, and busy season in my business. Whew! It is just a lot! I am trying to embrace the chaos that is our life, and remind myself that this too shall pass.
So from now until Thanksgiving, I have many, many family and senior sessions, a few weddings left, and a couple of trips planned (and hopefully a trip to Korea thrown in the mix!). So if you see me, I will still have my smile, I will still be positive that we will be getting my baby SOON, and I will be telling myself that this period of overwhelming life, is just that. A period in my life. Not a constant. And just to hang in there.

Several, several weeks ago (because I am sooo behind on blogging!), I got to go out with this amazing couple for their engagement session! We had a heck of a hard time scheduling, because we kept.on.getting.rained.out! Y’all this weather has just killed me this year! Thankful for it now, because of all the beautiful green all around! Although for a few weeks, I wasn’t appreciating it! But our day was perfect! Perfect couple! Perfect location! Perfect light! Perfect love
Megan and Daniel got married this August, and I cannot wait to to share their amazing day! Two of my favorite parts of meeting my couples early in their planning process are one, I get to see their dreams, visions, and plan unfold in front of me on their wedding day, and two, I love that it gives me a chance to really get to know my clients! Megan and I have chatted countless times about her dress, details, plans coming together, all the way to her love story and excitement to marry Daniel. This is why I love this job! I truly love getting to know my clients and seeing them so excited for such a big day and awesome commitment!

I just love this family!! Truly! Each time we schedule a session, I get so excited to see their sweet faces and see how the kids have grown. We met up on the most beautiful afternoon to get pictures of the kiddos. We had wonderful weather, light, laughs, and fun! I truly couldn’t ask for more! Take a look at this amazing little family!!
