The McDonald’s {Family} | Lebanon, TN Family Photographer

I was so happy when the McDonald Family contacted me to set up a session to get new family images made. This is a sweet family, and I loved going out to their family farm to get these great sunset pictures.

I have known this family for a while now.  Megan and I went to the same high school together.  Megan, Cory, and I all went to the University of Tennessee for college and were around each other a lot then! Megan is quite an entrepreneur.  She has started a paint party business where you can have your friends, family or co-workers get together and paint a painting together.  Check out her website: http://www.mixandmingleart.com/

Megan also helps runs a non-profit organization.  It is called Stomp MS, and she started this awareness program when she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.  They do many events throughout the year to raise awareness and funds for MS.  Check out their website to get her entire story, and see how you can help find a cure to MS.  http://www.stompmsamerica.org/default.html

Erin and Joe Paul {Engagement} | Nashville and Carthage, TN Photographer

We went downtown for Erin and Joe Paul’s engagement session.  There was a 30% chance of scattered thunderstorms on this Saturday.  Only 30%, and guess what… it poured! Thankfully we were able to get some great shots under the pedestrian bridge during the storm.  I love the look of everything after the rain.  Take a look at their engagement session.

I kind of did these posts backwards! First their wedding NOW their engagement… soon Erin’s bridal!!

Kathleen {Newborn} | Old Hickory, TN Newborn Photographer

I am happy when all my newborn clients arrive healthy and safely, but I was super excited to meet Kathleen.  I work with her dad at my school, and have become good friends over the last 5 years.  We share many of the same students, and I am so glad to be on the same team.  He gave me some great advice over the years of teaching.  He has an amazing wife Kori, and they are the perfect compliment to one another.  They already look like naturals holding their sweet, baby girl.  Meet Kathleen.  I know I was so happy to.

So glad you are here Kathleen! I can’t wait to watch you learn and grow.

Megan - What a dollface–I love her already!

Erin & Joe Paul {Wedding} | Gallatin & Lebanon, TN Wedding Photographer

I cannot begin to tell you how amazing Erin and Joe Paul’s wedding day was on July 2, 2011. From the moment I talked to Erin, a year ago, when she had just gotten engaged, I knew this would be a special day.  Both the wedding and reception were at the Baber House in Gallatin, Tennessee. It is a beautiful, southern house, and a perfect location for a southern wedding. Everything from the brides dress (I am beyond in love! She was straight from My Fair Lady!), the bridesmaids’ dresses, the flowers, the cake, the food, the planning, and the decorations, were all flawless.

I also had the chance to have Chesley Summar’s (of the fabulous Chesley Summar Photography) to assist and second shoot with me. I loved shooting with her, and I wish we could do all our weddings together! She got some absolutely amazing shots.

Enough with the talk 🙂 Take a look at Erin and Joe Paul’s day.
