Anna Claire {6 months}

Happy Saturday everyone!  I just realized that I never posted Miss Anna’s new 6 month pictures!  I love watching this little cutie grow! We did this session at my home, and Anna was so fascinated by the grass.  I love getting to watch babies learn and grow, even the simplest things around them are so enchanting. Here are few from our session!

Thanks Cripps family for letting me capture your growing family! I absolutely love it!

My Sister’s Baby Shower {Personal}

I was so happy earlier this month when my sister got to come home  for a baby shower with her hometown friends and family! My sister, Susan, lives in Florida now, but we have a very close church family that we grew up with in Tennessee.  We all came together to celebrate her little girl that we will meet in September! Her name is yet to be determined, but I can’t wait to meet her.

Before my sister flew back to FL, I had to take a few baby belly shots.  Her are a few of my favorites! She is all belly!

Here are some pictures/candid shots of her shower!
Of course… as I said before, my sister lives in Florida, so my niece HAD to have a bikini! It has been my mission (as well as to fill her entire closet before she is born)!
Instead of having our guest buy cards to be thrown away, we asked everyone to bring a book so Baby B can start to build her own library! She got a ton of great books.
Susan’s brother-in-law is trying to do a little persuasion to the Red Sox… just like we will be to push for Tennessee! GO VOLS!!
Resting after the wonderful shower with MY baby, Toby! Thanks so much for taking a look, and trust me, much more pictures to come of my little niece!

Owen {Newborn}

Get ready for this precious, 6 day old baby boy!! Still to this day, I am blown away at how tiny newborns are when I see them, especially 6 day old Owen. It was so awesome to meet Owen’s parents Sunday, and they already seem like pros even though this is their first baby. I guess new parents don’t have a choice but to learn quickly!

It is really best to take newborn pictures, during that first week after birth. They are still sleepy and pretty content with being moved around. We did all this pictures in Owen’s nursery. We even got to use a few cool props for the session! Owen’s dad plays the guitar, so we used this guitar case in some of the pictures, and we had to sneak Lilly (the dog) in for a picture. Take a look at my favorites (and get ready, there are SO many), so you can see I am really excited about these pictures!

Vicki - You are right. These are really nice. I think the use of the guitar case is a creative idea and those are interesting compositions. I really like the close ups of his sweet little face.

Jack & Neely {Children}

I have had the joy of taking pictures of Jack and Neely over the past year.  Between the 2 of them, we have had so many sessions, I couldn’t begin to pick out all of my favorites.  For our last session, we visited Watertown, TN to get some pictures of these 2 cuties.  I love taking pictures in this quaint little town.  Take a look at some of the pictures I took this day!

Thanks Jack and Neely for a fun play date in Watertown!

Laura & Martin {Wedding}

Last month, I got the assist/2nd shoot for Mandy Whitley of Mandy Whitley Photography (check her out on her site and blog) with Laura and Martin’s April wedding. It was the perfect spring day with blue skies and warm temperatures. My roll this day was to grab detail shots and candid shots (which I LOVE). To see more fabulous pictures from Laura and Martin’s wedding go check out Mandy’s blog post of the whole day. Take a look at some of my favorites that I grabbed on this happy day.

Congrats to Laura and Martin, and thanks Mandy for asking me to work with you! I loved every minute of it!

Laura Lambrecht - Rebecca, this is the first time I’ve seen your blog! Your pics are included on our DVDs but it’s certainly fun to see the ones you especially liked. I’m with you in regards to the laughing pics – those are some of my faves. You were such a pleasure to work with that day (hard to believe almost 10 months ago!), and I so appreciate all the great photos!
