Texture Tuesday | My happy place

There is nothing that makes me more excited than a vacation! Not a trip… A trip is where you go to a new place, have a plan, site see, tour, try new places to eat, take a ton of pictures of this cool new place to document and remember.  I love these types of trips, and we are so lucky to have gone to many great places! In the last few years we have traveled to Hawaii, Alaska, Seattle, San Fransico, Washington DC, Caribbean cruise and Newport Beach.  All amazing places, and we spend the whole trip seeing everything that we could see! We always make the most of our trips!

But my happy place is the beach, and we are so lucky that our family gets to spend so many weeks a year there.  We usually spend the week after Christmas with my family on the beach, and every year we go with our friends, Brandon and Mandi, to the beach for “Spring Break.”  A full week of time on the beach, with no agenda.  Time to lay in the sun. Time to read many, many books.  Time to sleep.  Time to not get ready.  Time to not be rushed.  That is my happy place!
