To our sweet boy,

Happy 11 months birthday to our sweet boy! Our sweet Davis Grey! I cannot believe that we have known about you now for almost 2 months.  How mine and your daddy’s hearts have grown since we first heard about you!  I never knew this is what our hearts were meant to feel.  I catch myself daydreaming about  you.  Dreaming of what you are doing, how you are growing, what you are learning.  I am dreaming of what makes you smile, hearing your laugh, and feeling you in my arms.  I am already preparing our family that it might be months before I am ready to let anyone else hold you!

We are getting your room all ready to go, working on some special projects to remind you daily of how much we love you and how much you are worth waiting for.  Your Daddy and I are talking and dreaming about all our firsts with you.  Our first time meeting you, our first family picture, our first family vacation, our first summer at the lake, our first meltdown in the grocery store (we aren’t naive enough to think these won’t happen!), our first time celebrating your birthday, our first time waking up to your sweet voice.  I don’t think there is a day that goes by that we don’t wish, dream, and hope for you.

Oh the hopes and dreams we have for you sweet Davis! You are truly our wish come true!
