Wendy {Bridal} | Nashville, TN Belmont Mansion Wedding Photographer

Bridal sessions make me happy.  I love the beauty, calm, and happiness that comes along with a bridal session.  There are so many reasons that I urge my brides to have this type of session, and I am so thankful that Wendy jumped at the chance!  Weddings are so exciting to me, and part of it is because I LOVE hearing about all the wedding details from colors, to flower choices, venues to (especially) the dress! When I met Wendy, I had such a vision of that her dress looked like I couldn’t wait to see it in person! She look my breath away the moment I saw her. And from that moment, I couldn’t wait for her then fiancé, now husband to see her. His expression at the wedding Saturday was priceless!

We set up our session at Belmont Mansion, and it was just a beautiful location.  They were so great to work with too! Take a look at beautiful, happy Wendy!

Wendy, I love your timeless beauty, and I am so thankful that I got to capture it in such a beautiful way.  These pictures make me happy, and I like that.  So glad I get to share it now!

Welcome Spring {Personal} | Lebanon & Nashville, TN Photographer

I am still here I promise! Since I still have my full time job of teaching my special kids, and I have been shooting like crazy, blogging has taken the obvious back burner as of lately! But trust me, I have so many that I want and will share with you soon.  From newborns to engagements, it has been very busy around here! Plus, my 2012 wedding season is about to kick off in just 2 weeks.

How amazing has this weather been lately?! Besides some crazy storms (that hit my car full force with hail damage), it has been life a breathe of fresh air for me.  I got outside this week, and played around with my macro lens and captured a little bit of spring:)

So now that I have SPRING FEVER (I mean, I can’t stop shopping for new spring clothes), I am kicking this spring season off by going on some pretty fabulous trips! First, my friend Chesley and I are headed to Newport Beach, CA Wednesday to go to a jammed pack, 2 day workshop with Kamee June & Julie Rollins.  You might remember that Kamee came to Nashville last September (see here and here), and I learned so much from her.  She just glows with passion about her craft, and is such an inspiration to me.  Julie is an oh so talented photographer too, and I can’t wait to meet and learn from her as well.  After this wonderful time in CA, I am flying to Florida for a much need VACATION with my husband and two of our friends.  A relaxing week of the beach is just what I need to feel refreshed and ready for the next couple of months ahead of me.

So with all of that, I will be out of pocket the next couple of weeks with limited access to my e-mail, but will get back with you as soon as I can! Happy Spring!!!

Ella Brynn {Newborn} | Lebanon & Nashville, TN Newborn Photographer

I was so excited to meet this sweet newborn! We have all be anxiously awaiting her arrival, and I couldn’t have been more in love when I did meet her! Ella was WIDE awake for the entire newborn session.  All 4 hours, this 10 day old did not sleep one wink, but that is okay! We got some great shots of her being bright eyed and bushy tailed for our session:)Take a look at sweet Ella!

I had such an amazing time with Megan and Peter a couple of weeks ago for their engagement sessions! From the very first shot, they were relaxed and there to have fun.  I am so looking forward to their wedding this summer in June! Take a look at these two love birds!
